Work starts on new Bahrain Embassy in Abu Dhabi

Building in Diplomatic Area of UAE capital city to be completed in November 2015 ahead of inauguration in 2016

Work has started on Bahrain’s new Embassy building in Abu Dhabi.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Works, implemented the project, which comprises the Ambassador’s residence, a reception hall, conference hall, waiting lounge, offices, a majlis and other facilities.

The two-storey building, which occupies an estimated 7,500 sq m, is located in the Diplomatic Area in the UAE’s capital.

The project is scheduled to be completed by November 2015 ahead of its inauguration in 2016.
