UK-based architect and design company, Broadway Malyan, is opening offices in Abu Dhabi.
The company is currently master planning and designing the Marina Residence scheme at Al Bandar, a new island forming part of the Al Raha beach development in Abu Dhabi.
Speaking at Cityscape Abu Dhabi, company associate Pal Patel stressed the importance of being in the area: “Things are increasing rapidly in the region, especially in Abu Dhabi. The city is about ten years behind Dubai in terms of construction, but there is huge potential here. They are getting the Grand Prix in two years and there is a lot of construction going on. We thought it was best to come out here to oversee projects personally.”
The company has been present in Abu Dhabi for six weeks and moves into new offices in September. Its temporary office is based in the Al Raha Development.
