Bollywood film ‘Patiala House’ will receive the red carpet treatment in Dubai on February 9 when the stars of the new film will be in the emirate for promotional events to mark the official premiere of the movie.
In line with some of the themes in the film, the stars, including Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma, Rishi Kapoor and Hard Kaur, will take part in a special cricket match in Dubai.
This will be followed by a red carpet screening of the event at the Grand Cineplex and a reception at the Ramee Royal Hotel, according to the Masala.com website.
The film tells the story of a second-generation Sikh in London who is encouraged to fight to save his family’s reputation when he falls in love with the girl of his dreams.
Produced by People Tree Films, Credence Motion Pictures and Hari Om Entertainment, the film is scheduled for release on February 11.
