Avid Technology Inc has appointed Dubai-based Wecom Global as their premiere reseller for the UAE and Oman.
According to the partnership, Wecom will be responsible for the supply of the entire spectrum of Avid newsroom solutions, audio/video products and broadcast systems.
The two companies recently organised a two day-workshop in Dubai titled Do More Tour.
The event, which was targeted at TV channels, post production houses and broadcast facilities, introduced professionals here to the latest technologies in the digital media market.
