Sage Software has announced the Middle East launch of its mid-market Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solution, SalesLogix. The package is aimed at companies with less than 500 employees, and is intended to address a growing demand in the mid-market for CRM solutions. The company will be expanding its channel to handle SalesLogix, and will also be carrying out intensive training to ensure partners can offer proper levels of service.SalesLogix is a modular CRM solution, with sales, marketing and support elements for different deployments. The solution was acquired last year when Sage bought Interact Commerce, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Sage. The addition of CRM to Sage’s portfolio provides it with a complete offering for mid-level enterprises, said Shishir Srivastava, executive director of Sage Software Middle East.“Sage now offers local companies an integrated suite of front and back office applications and will appoint eight SalesLogix partners in the Middle East within a year. SalesLogix is target at companies with fewer than 500 employees and is priced at $1,000 per user,” he said.Darren Menezes, marketing manager of Sage Software Middle East said: “To date, we have seen very few CRM implementations in the Middle East. CRM is in its infancy, what ERP was 7-8 years back. We think the Middle East CRM market will grow by 30 to 40 % for the next 3-4 years as companies being to realise the benefits of CRM. There is still a need to educate local businesses about the benefits of CRM and SalesLogix plans to actively do so in the coming months.”SalesLogix is also aimed to be an attractive proposition to partners through elements such as a web-based knowledge base of problems and resolutions that helps reduce and manage the number of customer support requests, and a partner web portal to handle leads, configuration, ordering and customer history.
