A massive fire is ablaze in Al Quoz, the flame and smoke seems to be coming from a facility in the area, the blaze was reported on November 14.
Smoke was seen billowing out of a facility in the Al Quoz industrial area and could be seen across Dubai.
The fire seems to be in the North side of the industrial area in Al Quoz, witnesses reported.
According to a tweet by the Dubai Media Office Dubai Civil Defence teams were dispatched to the scene and were working on extinguishing the fire.
Last week, an Emaar tower caught fire in Downtown Dubai. The blaze was reported in the 35-storey building in the early hours of November 7
Located near the Burj Khalifa, the 35-storey tower was ablaze and was extinguished just before 4am. The building seems to have extensive fire damage on the façade panning through all floors.
“The whole experience was obviously very scary but to be fair to Emaar, they couldn’t have looked after us better. They have given us incredibly nice rooms, we are being kept informed constantly on the situation with the tower and we have been told that some of us may even be able to go back as early as tomorrow,” the resident of 8 Boulevard Walk Tower told Arabian Business.
