Arabian Business has announced the launch of the first-ever Sustainability Awards. The event, a black-tie gala dinner on October 26 in Dubai, will see 13 awards given to companies and individuals who have excelled in this field.
Matthew Amlot, Editor in Chief of Arabian Business, said: “With COP28 being held in the UAE, there has never been a better time to celebrate the outstanding achievers in this field. The UAE continues to lead the way, and companies of all sizes are increasingly showing greater commitment towards helping build a sustainable future.”
Nominations are being invited for the following categories:

- Sustainable Tourism Firm of the Year
- Innovation Award for Sustainability
- Sustainable Finance Firm of the Year
- Sustainable Bank of the Year
- Sustainable Fintech Company of the Year
- Sustainable Energy Company of the Year
- Sustainable Real Estate Company of the Year
- Sustainable Construction Company of the Year
- Sustainable Startup of the Year
- Sustainability Professional of the Year
- Visionary of the Year
- Lifetime Achievement Award
The nominations process will be announced next week, with the winners decided by a team of Arabian Business editors.
