The UAE is now the world’s capital of aviation, Knighthood Global Limited chairman James Hogan said, ahead of his attendance at the Arabian Business Leadership Summit, taking place on June 21 in Dubai. Hogan will be joined by former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO, Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA), and boxing legend Amir Khan.

Hogan began his career in 1975 at Ansett Airlines, and held executive positions with BMI, Hertz and Forte Hotels. He is also the former boss of Bahrain’s Gulf Air.
Prior to his role as chairman for Knighthood Global Limited, Hogan served as the president and chief executive officer for UAE national airline Etihad Airways, from September 2006.
During his time at Etihad Airways, Hogan transformed the airline company from a $300 million start-up to a $20 billion business.
Hogan also graced the Arabian Business UAE Conference with his presence in January, this year, where he spoke on the future of aviation as well as the opportunities for the future for the airline industry.

Hogan will be joining other major business and political leaders including Former UK Prime Minister David Cameron, Jerry Inzerillo, Group CEO, DGDA, and boxing legend Amir Khan, to discuss the challenges and experiences faced by modern day global leaders. Following the speech, Cameron will also host a private lunch for business leaders.
“I look forward to joining David Cameron at the leadership summit to share my thoughts on how to be a leader is this incredible industry,” Hogan added.
