Emirates has opened the first of a new kind of retail store Jumeirah.
The 3,000sq ft retail space is located in Jumeirah Town Centre shopping mall and provides unique ways to access Emirates products.
Emirates World offers future travellers the chance to take a VR tour inside the airline’s award-winning First Class private suites and onboard lounges.

It means customers will be able to see the airline’s onboard cabins for themselves before buying tickets.
The virtual reality tours offer accurate, life-size experiences as they immerse themselves in their surroundings.
Emirates World also showcases the airline’s instore Premium Economy Class seat display. Customers can relax, recline and experience Premium Economy, so they know what to expect when travelling in this highly sought-after cabin class.

“The opening of this latest concept store is an expression of our retail vision for the future and marks the first of several stores we’ll be opening in the coming years across our network.
“It’s also part of our larger retail strategy to make the store experience more convenient, engaging and personal.
“We’ll employ a mix of the latest technology coupled with personalised one-to-one service from our highly knowledgeable travel consultants. Our open, welcoming, and functional space will also allow customers to discover our products like Premium Economy seats, in addition to a host of other elegantly displayed experiences.”
Emirates World retail stores will be rolled out across the airline’s network over the next three years.
The store was opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive. Also in attendance was Sir Tim Clark, President and Adnan Kazim, CEO.
The airline continues to offer innovation and first class offerings to customers. Last week it announced that passengers will be able to watch all FIFA World Cup 2022 matches onboard through the inflight entertainment system. The final World Cup match which is set to take place on December 18 will also be available to watch during travel.
