Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has announced the timing of its services for major public transport during the holy month of Ramadan.
The transport authority said Red Line stations on Dubai Metro will run from Saturday to Wednesday from 5:30am to midnight. On Thursday, stations will open from 5:30am to 1am and on Friday from 10am to 1am.
There will be no change in the timing of the Express Metro service during Ramadan, it said, adding that the Green Line stations will operate in Ramadan from Saturday to Wednesday from 5am to midnight. On Thursday, stations will operate from 5:50am to 1am and on Friday from 10am to 1am.
The Dubai Tram will operate from Saturday to Thursday from 6:30am to 1am, and on Friday from 9am to 1am, the RTA said.
As for paid parking zones in Dubai, the tariff will apply to all car parks (Zone: A, B, C, D, and G) from Saturday to Thursday at two periods – from 8am to 5pm, and from 7pm to midnight. The tariff will apply to parking of the Dubai Silicon Oasis (Zone H), Saturday to Thursday, from 8am to 10pm, Tecom (Zone F), Saturday to Thursday, from 8am to 6pm, and Fish Market (Zone E) from 8am to 11pm daily from Saturday to Friday.
Main public bus main stations, like Gold Souq Station, will open from 4:25am to midnight and Al Ghubaiba Station from 4:30am to midnight.
Stations of Metro Link buses, such as Al Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirate, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa-Dubai Mall, Abu Hail and Etisalat, will open from 5am to 12:20am while the timing of all Metro Link buses will match the timing of the metro service.
