Abu Dhabi’s Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque now open for 24 hours, night tours unveiled

To enhance the visitor experience, multimedia guides are available in 14 languages, catering to a wide range of guests, including those who are visually impaired and deaf

The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque has now introduced night tours and will be open for 24 hours for visitors. The new Sura Evening Cultural Tours promises visitors a chance to “delve into the history of the mosque’s establishment and marvel at the architectural richness of its Islamic design.”

According to the Mosque’s official website, the launch of the night tour especially aims to cater to travelers on transit ” who wish to visit the mosque without the hassle of waiting for their connecting flights.”

The night tour offers visitors “hidden gems” within the mosque that might have not been witnessed by the public before including the tranquil night atmosphere and the intricate maintenance and cleaning works.

Multimedia guides will be available for the tour in 14 languages including for those who are visually impaired and deaf.

To experience the Sura Evening Cultural Tours, visitors must fill out the form on the official website with details including reason of visit, personal details, date and time of visit, number of persons and language.

The visiting fee per person is set at AED20.
