Palazzo Versace Dubai will now allow guests to pay for dining, stays and spa experiences in cryptocurrencies, starting September 7.
The cryptocurrencies accepted include BNB, Bitcoin and Ethereum, and will take place through the Binance payment gateway.
Guests can pay for room stays, restaurants, meetings, and events, at the Al Jaddaf-based property using the Binance application. Online payment integration will go live, soon after.
Palazzo Versace Dubai will also accept cryptocurrency payments on their e-commerce platforms, which include gift vouchers and flower shop, the ultra-luxury property said in a statement.
“Accepting cryptocurrencies as payments is yet another innovative step that we have taken towards making our business future-ready,” Palazzo Versace Dubai’s managing director and Palazzo Hospitality’s founder Monther Darwish.
Binance added the luxury property’s ability to accept virtual asset payments “is a reflection of how the hospitality industry in Dubai is at the forefront of innovation as we move into a more digital world,” Binance MENA’s head of business development Nadeem Ladki said.
Ladki added the payments “is just the beginning and we look forward to building on this partnership together.”
