Claiming to boast the world’s “largest day spa” in Hamburg, the Nivea Haus brand has come to Dubai, with the opening of its second outlet in the world.
The development, located in Dubai Mall, has been steered by managing director of Beiersdorf Middle East Robert Taylor-Hughes and supported by Nivea Haus project consultant Susanne Kraus.
“The store offers state of the art skin and hair analysis facilities, with separate female beauty and male grooming lounges to respect cultural aspects of the region, as well as private treatment cabins and a retail selection with advice and daily product demonstrations,” said Kraus.
“Having worked for more than 10 years at Beiersdorf in Hamburg, Germany, I was able to transfer know-how and insight from opening the Nivea Haus spa in 2006, the first of its kind,” she added.
The company claims that more than 2500 clients are consulted each week at the Hamburg spa, a figure which managers hope will be rivalled in Dubai.
“We are the world’s largest skin and beauty-care brand and therefore we rightfully belong in one of the largest and most prestigious retail destinations available in the world,” said Taylor-Hughes.
